About the Show Info Box |
Adventureland Circus opened in 2017, replacing the Royal Hanneford Circus that had been in the park since 1997. It is located in Outlaw Gulch in an area behind Saw Mill Splash and the Outlaw.
This new circus is not connected with Royal Hanneford. Longtime ringmaster Billy Martin started this new circus. It is performed in a new tent with improved lighting and sound. Many familiar acts from past years have returned, and each daily show has a slightly different lineup. During the season, some acts will be swapped out to keep the show fresh all season.
The addition of the original circus ended shows at the Palace Theater. While there used to be annual large scale shows in that Main Street location, none have been held there since 1996.

Trivia
Voice of P.T. Barnaby
For the past several years, the ringmaster, Billy Martin, has been the voice of the P.T. Barnaby animated figured at the Palace Theater on Main Street. He says he original recorded an "older man" voice, to fit the character, but Adventureland ended up going with Billy's normal circus announcer voice.
