About the Show Info Box |
Palace Theater was an indoor stage location on Main Street. It opened in 1974. The last time it was used for a show was Unbelievable Magic and Mysteries in 1996 (true?). Since then, it has mostly been used for corporate events and off-season events like craft shows.
A hallway connects the theater to Iowa Cafe.
In 2015, the theater was completely remodeled.
In the front ticket window is P.T. Barnaby, an animatronic barker who spiels about what to see and do at Adventureland.
Shows
Over the year, it has been home to many different shows, including:
- A Salute to Iowa Music
- Adventures on Ice
- Celebrate Freedom
- Chinese Acrobats of Tapei
