Home - Plans
Here are some of the things still to be added:
- Maps - Each page will have a map showing where the item is (or was). There will also be overview maps showing the general outline of each of the park Areas. (Custom maps, drawn based on satellite imagery.)
- More Photos - Each page will have photos, either ones I took, or ones I can find and get permission to use. This may be difficult for some of the Extinct Rides and former shows.
- More Ride Information - Rides will have information including manufacturer, capacity per hour, and other statistics.
- More Menus - All food locations will have a detailed menu of the items served there. This is a moving target, since things come and go, so I will mark them as "2016 Menu" and such to make that clear.
- Merchandise - Shop pages should each have a listing of major items sold there. Did you know Dramamine for motion sickness is sold in the park? Neither did I, until this year. I'd like to link certain products (Dramamine, T-Shirts, etc.) so you could click and see all the places to find it.
- Restroom Info - I want to show which restrooms have baby changing stations, and the number of stalls/urinals, etc.
- Better Descriptions - Many pages have short placeholder text ("XXXX is a YYYY in ZZZZ"). The goal is to have a something much more descriptive.
- Dates - As we learn more, dates will get updated and corrected. There are many "opened in XXXX" entries or things with "(true?)" comments for places I don't have information.
- Website Name - I need to finalize the name for this site, and get it moved to the real domain. It might be something new, or I might just move it to "parkhopping.com" since I've had that domain for over a decade and have not been using it.
