Raging River is a white water rafting ride. It opened in 1983.
Raging River did not open with the rest of the park for the 2017 season. It's first day of operation was around June 13. It now features gates at the load/unload area, and new safety mechanisms that require multiple ride operators to stand on switches before the raft can be deployed.
Trivia
Early beginnings
The first white water raft ride opened in 1980 at Astroworld in Houston, Texas (a Six Flags park). Adventureland's version was one of the first made within three years of this new ride concept being created.
