May 31, 2021 - Happy 46th Anniversary, Adventureland!

May 31, 1975 - Official grand opening. Congressman Neal Smith, Altoona Mayor Lloyd Sievers and Adventureland President John Krantz spoke at the opening ceremony. (But parts of the park opened in 1974.)

Adventure Bay opened in 2008. It was originally just a gift shop and the Kokomo Kove play area. Today it is a full water park. Admission is included with a normal Adventureland ticket.

There are no games areas in the water park.


Restrooms are located near the entrance (down from the Kokomo Kove Store) and at the back of the park (across from the wave pool).
