About the Creator
This site is hosted and operated by Allen Huffman of DisneyFans.com. He has been posting digital photos of theme parks since 1996, and had one of the first known internet sites covering Adventureland (years before the park had its own website). He is also the one that started the Adventureland page on Wikipedia back in January 6, 2016.

- January 6, 2006 - Wikipedia Adventureland disambiguation (index) page created. (See the first version.)
- January 6, 2006 - Adventureland (Iowa) Wikipedia entry created. (See the first version from that day. Humble beginnings!)
Facebook Group
- May 12, 2016 - Adventureland Iowa Fans (UNOFFICIAL) group was created on Facebook. It reached 100 members on July 24, 2016.
Goal
The goal of this site is to collect history and current information about the park in one place. The official website has one page covering park history. This site will fill in the gaps and provide extensive coverage of ever ride, shop, show and food location in the park.
Consider the official Wikipedia page to be the Cliff's Notes for the park, and this site to be the full book.
