Categories
At the bottom of each page is a list of Categories. If you click on a category, you will see a listing of all the pages that are tagged with the same category. For example, if you are viewing a ride page, there will be a category at the bottom called Ride. Clicking on that Ride link will show you a list of all pages that have been tagged as a ride.
Some of the categories are:
- Area - pages that describe a specific area of the park
- Food and Drink
- Game
- Ride
- Shop
- Show
Plus some categories that are specific to the type of page:
- #### (four digit year) - this shows all the pages tagged with that year (things that opened that year).
- area name (area name) - all items tagged with that area (Main Street, Bavaria, etc.)
- category - main category of the page (Thrill Ride, Building, Cart, etc.)
- type - main type of the page (Steel Coaster, Chicken, Candy)
There are some special categories for things that have existed in multiple locations. For example, Convoy was installed on Dragon Island before it was moved next to the Frantic Freeway bumper cars. Chicken Shack was in a different building before it moved in to the new on it is in today. Those pages will get the category Moved (which shows you anything that has moved), or Food and Drink Moved just to see food places that have moved, or Ride Moved to see just rides that have moved.
As we continue to build this site, the categories will expand and allow you to find real specific things by year, type, location, etc.
