Bernie Bernard is the official mascot of Adventureland. He is a St. Bernard. Bernie appears in the park as a walk around costumed character, and also appears as a cartoon on maps, signs, and merchandise.
In 2017, a new version of Bernie appeared with a more rounder look. According to Alex Trigs (member of the Facebook Group), the new Bernie was created by Sugar's Mascots of Toronto, Canada.
Trivia
According to a former cast member, the Facebook pages for Bernie and Heather were made by some of them a few years ago for fun. They even had a mock wedding between Bernie and Heather, and thus these unofficial pages list them as married (making Heather's last name unofficially Bernard). The CEO of Adventureland is even friends to both of them.
