Jack the Giraffe

Name Jack the Giraffe
Category Statue
Type Giraffe
About the Character Info Box

Jack the Giraffe was a sculpture of a giraffe carved out of a tree near the River Rapids log ride. It appeared in 2006, and was painted with spots the following season. Posters in our Facebook group that worked in the park say Jack was there through the 2015 season, but was damaged during the removal of the log ride.

Trivia

Jack was a mother's day present from the family to Jan Krantz. I was told she loved giraffes, but only the ones with cute "nobs" on their heads.
